The present consortium is composed by five partners, three Universities (UNIVERSITY OF ROME TOR VERGATA, TYNDALL NATIONAL INSTITUTE - UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CORK, TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF MUNICH) and two Small-Medium Enterprises (AMO and QVS) with complementary research activities.

The CHOSE-Labs in the University of Rome Tor Vergata is a center of excellence for the research on third-generation organic photovoltaics on glass and on flexible substrates internationally recognized. The QUANTAVIS partner will mostly contribute to the project devoting its renowned expertise in modeling and simulation. The research lab of AMO has a well established experience in nano-litography and a perfectly equipped process for the realization of large area graphene semitransparent contact graphene contacts on glass substrates. The Nanotechnology Group at TNI-UCC provides a unique range of fabrication, processing and characterization infrastructure for directed assembly of graphene crystallites and functionalization of edge states in graphene devices. The Institute for Nanoelectronics at the Technical University of Munich has developed a well established knowledge in nanofabrication using nanoimprinting techniques thanks to the use of standard and on-purpose designed machines.

Furthermore the involved groups have already well-established cooperation with each others: AMO and Tyndall-UCC have been involved in the FP7 European project GRAND focused on the use of graphene in nanoelectronic devices. The partners AMO and Tyndall-UCC have one joint publication and one granted patent on the functionalization and doping of graphene, while scientists from AMO and QVS have coauthored publications on graphene-based devices for analogue applications. UTV and TUM have a long term collaboration that led to two joint projects (Marie Curie, Vigoni bilateral project) and publications.
